Arnold Area Vegetation Fire Quickly Extinguished

Arnold, CA — A four to five acre vegetation fire near Boards Crossing Rd. north of Big Tree Village in Calaveras County was quickly extinguished by C.D.F. fire crews this morning.
Jim Devoll of the C.D.F. Dispatch Center in San Andreas says the fire may have been caused by lightning. There has been no report of injuries or damage.
