State Budget May Be Ratified This Evening

Sacramento, CA — Legislative leaders are promising to bring a $131 billion state spending plan to a vote this evening and send it to the governor this week.
California lawmakers announced Monday that they have reached a deal on the budget plan that substantially increases funding for classrooms and roads.
In addition a portion of that $9 billion tax revenue windfall will be utilized to pay down the state´s debt.
