Opinions Sought On Possible Economic Development Organization

Sonora, CA — Should there be an economic development organization in Tuolumne County?
That was the question put before ten residents Wednesday afternoon by George Segarini of the Chamber of Commerce. There was a general agreement such an organization should exist but there was no agreement on the type of structure for the organization.
Some thought an organization should be public, some private and other felt it could be a combination of the two.
Segarini says the expressed ideas will now go before a more focused group for further study.
