No Charges Filed in Jamestown Shooting

Jamestown, CA — 52 year old David Fraser, Jr. will not face criminal charges relating to a suicide shooting last Wednesday in the parking lot of the Rawhide Saloon in Jamestown.

Fraser handed his .357 Magnum revolver to 34 year old Jason Ebberts who then shot himself at approximately 2:30. Fraser has been accused of misdemeanor drunken driving and felony possession of an unregistered loaded handgun. After leaving the scene of the shooting, Fraser was arrested by C.H.P. officers and the weapon used in the shooting was found on his property that same afternoon.

Fraser was jailed on $10,000 bail. He was released Tuesday. He´ll appear in court on March 23.
