Murphys Irish Days To Be Led By Murphy Family

Murphys, CA — Three generations of the Murphy family, which founded the town, have been tapped as Grand Marshals of the annual Murphys Irish Days Parade.
Selected to lead the day is Jim Taaffe, the great, great grandson of Martin Murphy Jr., the patriarch of the Murphy clan.
Taaffe will ride with his wife, daughters and grandson.
The parade is set for 11 a.m., March 18. There are more than 45 entries in the parade this year including bagpipers, classic cars and youth groups.
Along with the parade the day features music, food and unique vendors.
