Ambulance Company Offers Service At Low Set Rate

San Andreas, CA — A new program has been implemented in Calaveras County to help with the fee of an ambulance ride.
The American Legion Ambulance Company is offering a program so that the general public can purchase a ticket that would be good for a year for any ambulance assistance needed.
The ticket is $50 and would cover all ambulance rides necessary in that year. Leslie Fischer with American Ambulance says the purchase of one ticket can cover the whole family.
Fischer says the tickets are available at their office in San Andreas as well as several drugstores in Calaveras and Amador Counties.
