Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Clerk´s office will be very busy the next few weeks, as hopefuls file for various County offices.
Assistant County Clerk Jackie St. George says there are a number of positions available within the county, including Assessor Recorder, Clerk Auditor, District Attorney, Sheriff, Judge, Treasurer, Superintendent of Schools, two Supervisor districts and some City Council seats.
St. George said as of Monday evening no one had submitted any forms for office. When it comes to the Sheriff´s seat, six people have pulled forms, however none have returned them. The primary election will be June 6th.
