Sheriff’s Deputies Apprehend Serial Car Burglar

Sonora, CA — Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Deputies Have apprehended a serial car burglar believed to have broken into several cars.
Authorities say a white male adult, about 6 feet tall with dark hair and wearing dark clothing was seen attempting to gain access to a white Chevy S-10 Blazer in Rancho Sonora Estates near Deerfield and Gopher.
The suspect apparently fled the area on foot when Sheriff´s Deputies arrived at about 2:00 this morning.
Deputies say the individual is known to be in possession of stolen property from previous burglaries.
The suspect was taken into custody shortly after 6:00 this morning.
