Postage Set To Rise In Cost Sunday

Sonora, CA — The cost of postage is going up this weekend. Starting Sunday, it will cost 39 cents to send a first class letter, up from 37 cents.
The United States Postal Service says letters with the 37-cent stamp will be accepted if they are dropped in the mailbox Saturday, but not Sunday, when the cost goes up.
