Riverside, CA — Only two of the southern California fires remain under the 100 percent containment mark this morning.
The San Diego based Poomacha has burned 49,410 acres … it is 95 percent contained with full containment expected next Sunday. Cost of this fire to date; $17.2 million.
The arson set Santiago Fire in Orange County has burned 28,400 acres … it is 90 percent contained with full containment expected tomorrow. Cost of this fire; $18.6 million.
31 firefighters have been injured fighting these two blazes.
