Tuolumne County Health Fair Enters Final Day
Sonora, CA — This Wednesday marks the second and final day of the 2007 Tuolumne County Health Fair at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds.
Blood screenings for early commuters have taken place both days between 5 and 7am. At 7am the blood screenings ($20) continued. For men wishing a PSA (prostate) test there is an additional $10 fee. All other screenings and the vendor booths opened at 7am each day. 3pm is the closing time.
During the two day fair, Mother Lode residents have gone through screenings for anemia, balance and fall assessment, blood pressure, body fat, bone density, cataracts, chiropractic needs, colo-rectal, glaucoma, hearing, height and weight, oral, skin, pulmonary function/asthma and vision.
Free flu shots by a pandemic vaccination team have been offered by the Tuolumne County Health Department. The Health Department is one of 57 vendors on site for the 29th annual Health Fair.
