Mark Twain-St. Joseph’s Hospital Claims The Gold
San Andreas, CA — The staff at Mark Twain-St. Joseph´s Hospital is celebrating a gold medal performance among all 42 Catholic Healthcare West hospitals.
It was a year ago that Mark Twain-St. Joseph´s finished third in The Challenge For 4-Star Service competition based on patient satisfaction as scored by an independent company. This year the hospital finished in first place.
Spokesman Larry Cornish commented that, “All employees have pledged to do better in patient satisfaction. The staff, as a whole, introduces itself to each of the patients and we ask what can we do for you to make your stay exceed any expectations you may have.”
Cornish adds that, “The administrative staff is involved in rounds every day visiting patients and asking them if they are satisfied with their meals, their television and timely service when they use their call buttons.”
Cornish says the staff is hopeful that patients will feel that Mark Twain-St. Joseph´s Hospital resembles a Four Star hotel rather than a facility that only dispenses medicine.
