Mariposa, CA — The Mariposa County Board of Supervisors will host a Thursday evening 6:30 meeting dealing with the fallout of the $40 million Telegraph Fire.
The purpose of the meeting is to be as prepared as possible should another disasterous fire strike the region.
The fire started on Friday, July 25th from a target shooting incident near the Merced River. CAL Fire has reported the fire spread over 25 square miles in four short hours that afternoon.
On hand for the meeting will be representatives from CAL Fire, Mariposa County Fire Department, Mariposa County Sheriff´s Office, the CHP, P.G.& E., Sierra Telephone, the U.S. Forest Service and the National Park Service.
5100 Bullion St. in Mariposa is the address for the Supervisors Chambers.
