T.N.T. Continues to Score Against Mexican D.T.O.

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — Already this year the Tuolumne Narcotics Team has taken more than $75,000,000 out of the hands of the Mexican Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO) by the eradication of more than 50,000 plants in the very first month of the eradication season.

Last Friday 3,062 plants were destroyed in the Ascencion Mountain area off Hwy 120 above Groveland. Thursday detectives eradicated 2,961 plants in the Jawbone Creek area near the Hetch Hetchy Plant off Forest Rd. 3N01. Also Thursday 9,989 plants were destroyed near Reed Creek in the Cherry Lake area.

No subjects or weapons were discovered at any of the three sites. The D.T.O. watered the plants by the use of drip lines.

T.N.T. was assisted in the eradication of the three marijuana grows by the state supported CAMP Team (Campaign Against Marijuana Planting) and U.S. Forest Service personnel.
