Sonora & San Andreas, Ca — The continued Public Hearing of the Mountain Springs Community Project will highlight the Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday.
A two day public hearing was held June 23-24 at the 49´er Church in Columbia, and the Board decided it would like a couple of extra weeks before deciding whether to approve the project. The 897 home development would be located off Lime Kiln Rd. near the existing Mountain Springs Golf Course. The hearing is set for 1:30pm.
Meanwhile in Calaveras County on Tuesday, the Board of Supervisors will decide whether to move ahead with the planned issuance of the $31 million Measure J bonds. The funding, approved by voters, would go towards construction of a new Law and Justice Center.
