Road Project Set For Next Week In Stanislaus National Forest

Sonora, Ca — A portion of Eagle Meadow Rd (5N01) within the Stanislaus National Forest is scheduled to be paved, with preparation work beginning Monday, June 23, and paving to commence on Wednesday, June 25.

During the paving portion of the project, set for Wednesday and Thursday, the road will be temporarily closed to through traffic at Barn Meadow between the hours 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Emergency traffic needs will be accommodated, however, at all times during the entire period.

The paving work will improve a 3,800 foot section of the road, running from Barn Meadow to Niagara Rim Trail.
