Boyce On The Move In Calaveras County
San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County’s new Chief Administrative Officer Jeanne Boyce is on the move.
Boyce has spent the past 10 years as the Director of the Calaveras County Health Services Agency. She has already departed that office moving into her new digs at the Government Center.
“I’m getting along great. I’ve had an interesting first six days and we had a long Board meeting yesterday talking about a three year strategic plan for the county. It’s been very informative so far.
Our chief priorities for the strategic plan would include budget solvency and continued financial integrity for the county operations. Of course we have the jail project.
The Board talked about five distance goals yesterday. They range from general administration and business efficiencies to public safety, to health and human services and assuring the safety and health of our community. Also discussed was how we look at what government does and how we do the best we can in terms of business efficiency and, of course, customer service.
I’m getting to know my department heads from a different vantage point and I’ll be meeting with them to talk about what their priorities and issues are of concern first and foremost in the next month.”
