Black Friday Forecast: Light Morning Rain & Sierra Snow

There is a slight chance of morning rain, just in time for the early morning shopping rush on Black Friday (the name given for the day after Thanksgiving).
Any rain in the Motherlode, will most likely fall before sunrise on Friday.
Snow levels will be around 5500 feet and only a few inches of accumulation are expected in the Sierra. Light snow showers could linger in the mountains through Saturday morning.
Highway 108 (Sonora Pass) is open. Highway 4 (Ebbetts Pass) is also open. Highway 120 (Tioga Pass) is closed at Crane Flat.
