Sonora Man Arrested After Driving Into Tattoo Parlor

Sponsored by:

Sonora, CA — 21-year-old Daniel Ray Clements of Sonora lost control of his 1985 Ford pickup truck Friday morning and ended up rolling the vehicle on its side and colliding with the Ink Machine tattoo parlor at 200 Mono Way.

Clements was not injured, but was immediately taken to Tuolumne County Jail because he was found to be under the influence and driving with a suspended license.

Police Chief Mark Stinson says Clements told officers that he lost control due to “hydroplaning,” but the roadway had been dry for over a day. The accident was reported at 1:43am.
