End Of June Weekend Events
Sonora, CA – The last weekend in June offers plenty of opportunities to kick back, recreate and partake in Mother Lode summer fun.
Those interested in some grillin’ can “Cook Your Own Rib Eye Steak” dinner at the Sonora Elks Lodge, beginning at 5 p.m. Reservations are required. At the same time is the Angels Camp Friday Certified Farmers Market at Utica Park.
Come Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. the Sonora Certified Farmers Market opens in downtown Sonora. Calaverans, if your pets need rabies shots or micro-chipping, consider attending a free clinic at Mountain Ranch Youth Alliance Resource Center, sponsored in partnership with Calaveras County Animal Services and Friends (FOCAS).
From 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Ironstone Vineyards Heritage Museum hosts a free antiques and collectibles appraisal clinic with specialists onsite to help determine values for cherished treasures in every category.
At 6 p.m. another Twain Harte Concerts in the Pines performance gets underway, featuring Journey tribute band Agent.
