Camp Tawonga Building Destroyed

Groveland, CA — A restroom facility at Camp Tawonga near Groveland was destroyed by fire.

It was called in to CAL Fire at 8:45pm Sunday and extinguished by 9:35pm.
Around 300 kids are staying at Camp Tawonga, but none had to be evacuated. There were also no injuries.

The restroom building was approximately 1,000 sq. ft. in size. The cause of the fire is believed to be a faulty water heater.
