Sacramento, CA — A deadline is quickly approaching at the state capitol in Sacramento.
The Associated Press reports that California lawmakers have until Friday to consider hundreds of bills, ranging from consumer protections to paparazzi restrictions to gun control.
June 4 is the last day for bills to pass their first house.
Approximately 360 measures will be up for vote starting tomorrow after lawmakers return from a Memorial Day break.
Legislation must pass both the Senate and the Assembly no later than Aug. 31st.
