Stolen Vehicle Found

Sonora, CA — Two people were arrested in Sonora after a stolen vehicle was located.
Sunday evening the Sonora Police Department was notified that a vehicle was taken from the Crystal Falls area and a possible suspect was 22-year-old Nicolette Ciabatti. Officers later located the vehicle parked on Summit Avenue in Sonora.
Police Chief Mark Stinson reports that Ciabatti soon approached the vehicle, along with 26-year-old Joshua Kelly of Twain Harte. Ciabatti and Kelly were arrested and transported to Tuolumne County Jail. Ciabatti faces charges of auto theft, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Kelly is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
