Honoring Vets’ With A Free Pass

Sponsored by:

Yosemite, CA – Yosemite National Park will continue its tradition of waiving entrance fees for the country’s military on Veterans Day.

On Friday, November 11th admission to the park is free for all current members, retired members, and reserve members of the United States Armed Forces and their families in honor of their service.   Park officials say that free admission on Veterans Day is one way the National Park Service can show appreciation for the millions of men and women who fight to protect America’s great treasures, including Yosemite.

Fees being waived for Veterans Day include entrance into the park only. All other fees associated with camping, lodging, or activities within the park are not waived.
