Update: Crash On Highway 4 Cleared
Update at 6:45 p.m.: The CHP report the wreckage that had stopped traffic on Highway 4 has been cleared and traffic is moving freely once again. One person was trapped in the vehicle that overturned on the highway. The roadway was closed for about 20 minutes as emergency crews worked to free the person. Officers directed one-way traffic for another nearly 30 minutes as tow crews removed the wreckage.

Update at 6:30 p.m.: The CHP reports officers are directing one-way traffic control as the eastbound lane of the highway is still blocked due to the rollover accident near Stallion Way. An ambulance did take one person to the hospital with minor injuries. Tow crews are on scene working to remove the wreckage.
Original post at 5:55 p.m.: Angels Camp, CA — Traffic is at a stand still on Highway 4 just west of Angels Camp due to a solo vehicle accident.
The CHP reports that a vehicle flipped on its roof near Stallion Way. A person is trapped inside. The eastbound lane is blocked with the wreckage but all traffic is stopped as crews work to get the individual out of the vehicle. The CHP has no word on when traffic will start moving again or if there are any injuries. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the news center.
