Honoring September 11, 2001
Americans are observing the 12th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks today. Many are holding moments of silence, some are reading the names of the nearly 3,000 people who died when hijacked jetliners crashed into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and a Pennsylvania field in 2001.
Assembly Member Frank Bigelow says, “Let us also keep in mind the firefighters, police officers and emergency responders who put their lives on the line to protect and serve our country on that tragic day.” He also says, “We must also thank our brave men and women in uniform, who courageously fight to defend our freedoms and constitutional rights every day at home and abroad.” Bigelow’s newest blog “Honor To Americans Lost On 9/11” is here.
