While most people will be having a good time away from work this holdiay weekend, California Highway
Patrol officers will not. They will be on duty as part of their Maximum Enforcement Period this Memorial Day weekend.
This means officers will watch
for motorists who are speeding or doing anything that could cause an accident. If you´re caught driving drunk, you´re going to spend two days in
jail.
The Maximum Enforcement Period begins tomorrow at 6pm and lasts until Monday at midnight.
