A new era begins tomorrow in the Calaveras County District Attorney´s office. Veteran public defender
Jeffrey Tuttle assumes the reins as interim DA to finish out the remaining time left on former DA Peter Smith´s term.
Tuttle, who previously worked as a
prosecutor as well as a defender, is very excited about the “big challenge” that awaits him. He also plans on running for re-election next year.
