Another Chance Of Rain Tuesday

Most of California has improving weather, except in the northern Sierra Nevada, which is experiencing a fourth consecutive day of heavy snow. Blowing, drifting snow and near-zero visibility shut down westbound lanes of Interstate 80 for one hour today. No major accidents were reported.

The Mother Lode will have one day to dry out before more rain moves in Tuesday night. Forecasters say another storm brings with it a 30 percent chance of rain late Tuesday night. The next chance of wet weather will be again on Saturday.
