Historic Street Car Derails In San Francisco
Sponsored by:
One of San Francisco´s popular historic street cars derailed early this morning. There were no passengers on board. The operator suffered minor injuries – but he´s already been released from the hospital.
The F-Market car left the rails around 2 a.m. and wound up on a sidewalk at Market and Steuart streets near Justin Herman Plaza. The car was designed to look like one that ran years ago in Newark, New Jersey. It´s been hauled away and experts are now trying to figure out what happened.
