Hazard Signs On Agenda

Motorists in Calaveras County could soon have a new way to learn about road construction and hazards. The county Public Works Department wants to buy two truck-mounted message signs to warn motorists of construction, rock slides or other problems on county roads. The two signs together cost 21,000. The Board of Supervisors will vote on the request Monday.
