Tuolumne County deputies are investigating a vehicle break-in that netted the intruders more than $700.00 worth of property. The victim says his car was parked along Old Wards Ferry road in Sonora, when somebody smashed the driver´s side window and opened the trunk. Electronic devices were taken and about $250.00 damage done.
In Jamestown, a harp worth an estimated $2,000.00 was stolen from storage. Deputies are also investigating the theft of $300.00 worth of camping equipment at the Pinecrest Campground.
