McNally Fire Still Growing

The southern portion of the Golden Trout Wilderness is now closed as the 88,000-acre McNally wildfire spreads into the Inyo National Forest. The fire north of Kernville is still only 35% contained. The Bakersfield woman who forest service officials say admitted starting the fire was in court yesterday, but a hearing to decide if Peri Van Brunt should be released on bail has been put off, at her request, until tomorrow.
