Home Depot Tries Again

Home Depot is trying again to locate in the Mother Lode. Tuolumne County Senior Planner Mary De Beauvieres confirms the hardware chain has filed an application to locate along Highway 108. The site would be between Hammond Ford and the Peppery restaurant.
Home Depot´s last bid for a location here was within the Sonora City limits near South Washington Street, in what was planned to be the “Sawmill Shopping Center”. The project is at the beginning of a lengthy permitting process which will include plan studies and public hearing.
