Bikers’ Funerals Draw Thousands
Stockton police are gearing up for hundreds of Hells Angels to roll into town on motorcycles today to mourn a fallen members. Stockton motorcycle shop owner and Hells Angel member Robert Emmett “Festes´´ Tumelty was one of three bikers killed at a Nevada casino last weekend.
A fight broke out between members of the Hells Angels and rival gang, the Mongols. It soured the annual Laughlin River Run, which is one of the nation´s largest motorcycle rallies. Today´s funeral will honor Tumelty and 27-year-old Jeramie Dean Bell of Hughson. A funeral home is making arrangements for as many as three thousand bikers to attend afternoon services at a chapel that normally seats 400.
