Five people – including an elderly bystander – are wounded after a mid-morning shooting and stabbing outside a Popeye´s fast food restaurant in San Francisco´s Mission District.
Four people were shot, one was stabbed near a busy corner at Mission and 22nd at about 10 a.m. One of the victims, in his 70s, apparently was a bystander who was shot in the foot. Police say witnesses saw some men fighting, then one pulled out a gun and started shooting.
The injured have been taken to San Francisco General Hospital. one is listed in serious condition with a chest wound. Another was shot in the chin and nose.
