Northern California firefighters appear to be turning the tide against California´s largest wildfire, which has burned nearly 22,000 acres east of Yosemite National Park. Officials at the Cannon Fire near Walker say the blaze is about 50% contained. More than 1,600 firefighters have been battling the blaze that broke out June 15th, about 90 miles south of Reno.
