Overturned Truck Blocked Highway 120

An overturned dumptruck spilled it´s load of gravel on the new Priest Grade (Highway 120) near Groveland Monday, shutting down traffic on one lane of that twisty road for more than 3 hours.

The CHP say the Peterbuilt truck´s driver — 25 year-old Burson resident Richard Adams — took a curve too fast, causing the load of gravel to shift which made the dump truck overturn in the west bound lane around 1-30 Monday afternoon. Traffic was directed around the accident..

The driver was not hurt in the mishap.
