Siblings Sentenced For Murder

A Sacramento Superior Court judge sentenced a brother and sister yesterday to 25 years to life for the murder of
a woman who some people say is still alive.
A jury convicted Helen Tibon and Kevin Clark of killing Kristy Green in September. Green – the mother of a 3-year-old – disappeared in March 2000.
Witnesses say she was tortured and suffocated in bubble wrap then dismembered, burned and dumped in the Sacramento River. Her body hasn´t been found.
Prosecutors say the siblings killed Green because they feared she would tell police they were involved in a mail fraud scheme.
Sentencing of the siblings was delayed three months because two people say they´ve seen Green. But prosecutors say those people are mistaken.
