Sonora Man Killed In Head-On

A Sonora man was killed Saturday morning in a head-on collision on highway 108 near Lancaster Road near Oakdale.
The CHP says 26 year-old John Bailey died at the scene.
Investigators say the man lost control of his ´92 BMW, drifting across the center yellow divider line and hit a ´92 Dodge truck hauling a horse trailer. That driver, from Farmington, and his 15 year-old son sustained only minor injuries and were treated at the scene.
CHP does not believe fog in the area was a factor in the accident.
