Higher DMV Fees Ahead

It looks like we´ll be paying more for our yearly vehicle registration tags. State lawmakers want to return car license fees to 1998 levels. Returning the fees to 1998 levels would add an average of $115 to the registration fees of every car. Assembly Democrats have warned the governor that they´ll accept budget cuts only if he signs off on the higher vehicle tax.
