Modesto Police Search Peterson House Again

Modesto police are searching the home of missing pregnant woman Laci Peterson after new discoveries in the case.
Detective Doug Ridenour says unspecified new findings led officers to return to the house that the 27-year-old school teacher shared with her husband, Scott Peterson. It was the second time officers have used a warrant to gather evidence at the house since Laci Peterson vanished Christmas Eve. Investigators previously seized the truck and boat Scott Peterson says he took fishing in San Francisco Bay the day his wife disappeared.
Peterson left the house during the search in a different vehicle. He returned later and handed some papers to officers before driving away.
