Protesters and police in the Bay Area are gearing up for another big anti-war protest today in downtown San Francisco. This will be the third major peace demonstration in as many months for San Francisco.
Crowd estimates for the last one in February went as high as 200,000 people. Police are worried the march might attract splinter groups engaging in acts of violence and vandalism. That´s something that´s happened during the last two rallies.
Authorities haven´t said whether they will be videotaping protesters this time as part of their surveillance.
