The judge in the double murder trial of Scott Peterson introduced a group of about 100 prospective jurors to Peterson this morning.
Peterson stood and greeted the group of San Mateo County residents with slight smile and said “Hello, good morning.”
The introduction by Judge Al Delucchi is part of the jury
selection process that began Wednesday.
Much of the process involves potential jurors filling out extensive questionnaires and the judge excusing residents for hardship reasons, such as child care or job conflicts — or that a juror could not be impartial.
The judge also warned that anyone selected to be on the jury should not discuss the case.
