Yosemite National Park, CA — National Park Service officials have closed Highway 120 over Tioga Pass.
Officials say the barricades went up shortly after 9:00 this morning. The highway is closed from Crane Flat on the West to the park boundary on the east.
Officials have also closed Glacier Point Road inside the park. Park police say the closures are precautionary at this time, however a decision to keep the roads closed could come later.
Officials are keeping an eye on weather forecasts, which are predicting a significant amount of snowfall in the higher elevations over the next few days.
Highway 108 at Sonora Pass and Highway 4 at Ebbetts Pass are remaining open for the time being.
