City Council Holds Special Meeting Today
The Sonora City Council meets in a special session this afternoon.
The council will hold a public hearing on the use of $170,000 of city money for the Homebuyer´s Assistance Loan Program. The issue of changeable message signs in the city will again be brought up, after a lengthy discussion at the most recent city council meeting.
A bike trail feasibility and alignment study is also on this afternoon´s agenda as are longevity pay increases for city public works employees who´ve been on the payroll ten and fifteen years, respectively, and council members will also look at signing a contract with an online auction service to dispose of property for the Sonora Police Department.
