Vallecito, CA — It was equipment use that started a five acre blaze Wednesday in Vallecito.
That´s what the California Department of Forestry says of the vegetation fire that caused drivers to slow down along Highway 4 near Batten Road at around 4 p.m. The smoke was thick in the area.
Units from the Columbia Air Attack Base were among crews that quickly put out the fire.
Damage is estimated at $1,000.
