If you’re dreaming of a White Christmas, you may have to drive into the Sierra Nevada.
According to the National Weather Service, the next storm system will arrive beginning on Saturday (Christmas).
An inch of rain or more could fall in the Motherlode from Saturday through Monday morning. The Sierra Nevada may see one to two feet of snow above 7000 feet.
Snow levels will range from 4000 through 5000 feet.
Winds may gust up to 60 mph over the crest of the Sierra Nevada.
