Earthquake Aftershocks Continue
Menlo Park, CA — The U.S. Geological Survey reports there have been 29 aftershocks following the Thursday evening 7:17.32 earthquake 14 miles north-northwest of Bridgeport, CA.
The original quake registered 4.7 on the Richter Scale. According to U.S.G.S. Spokesperson Stephanie Hanna in Seattle, such a quake is considered “mild.”
The last registered aftershock occured at 6:42.42 this morning … it registered a 2.6 Richter Scale reading. The largest aftershock, a 3.8, occured two-and-a-half minutes following the initial temblor.
There have been no injuries or damage reported from the earthquake.
