Hit And Run Driver-Vehicle Sought By C.H.P.

Sponsored by:

San Andreas, CA — A hit and run accident on Hwy 4 east of Forest Meadows Monday morning remains under investigation by the San Andreas Highway Patrol.

19 year old Jennifer Harsch of Murphys was westbound traveling between 50-55mph at 7:50 when a second vehicle crossed over the double yellow lines from the eastbound lane and sideswiped Harsch´s Plymouth Neon. Harsch´s vehicle spun off the road … she suffered only minor injuries and was treated at Sonora Regional Medical Center.

The second vehicle fled the scene continuing in an eastbound direction on Hwy 4. The limited description of that vehicle is either a bronze or dull gold Chevy or Dodge pickup truck with damage to the left side wheels and possibly the lower body panels.

Should you have any information, please contact the Highway Patrol at (209) 754-3541.
